   This story’s biggest problem is it doesn’t know its characters and motivation. You have a FL who is supposed to be a reincarnator which has no impact on the plot or even the FL herself. Her actions would make more sense if she was just a normal girl from this world since she is so trusting and nice even at her own expense. She questions nothing, gives endlessly and is basically here to be a selfless doormat for anyone and everyone else around her. She has no inner struggles nor does she have a character journey she needs to personally overcome outside of getting her husband to sleep with her and getting money for her mother and sister in law. It seems like so much more could be done with her.

   The ML is supposed to be a strong awakener from another world but secretly he is actually her real husband but lost his memories. He makes money out of nowhere, and we as the reader have to assume he sold some random unknown information from the book his system randomly gave him before. Because the story keeps switching POVs at odd times, we lose a lot of background information on both characters since everything of importance happens passively off screen. He fights trying to build emotional affection with the FL and supposedly it is supposed to impact their relationship, but literally nothing ever came from that when he declined the mission. After playing otome games, having someone’s trust or affection for you in the negative would heavily impact how they treat you. The FL is immediately still soft, sweet and forgiving of him right afterwards, so I don’t know what was the point of that penalty.

   The mother and sister started off fine but quickly devolved into one note spoiled unreasonable brats that throw tantrums the moment they don’t get everything they want. I almost got whiplash by how quickly the story made the mother awful out of nowhere. No nuance, no personality, no emotional connection. Even after everything they lived through, the moment Alex gets some money, they immediately blow it on clothes and trivial things. If they are meant to be unlikable, that is fine. It just gets confusing when their horrible personalities are treated with lighthearted fondness by the story the very next second with absolutely no consequence or impact on the character’s dynamics and relationships.

   Premise is interesting but the personalities feel a bit bland
   The FL seems kinda useless and I feel like the narrative of her being a transmigrator is kinda unnecessary
   But this is probably one of the first rofan that I’ve seen with a transmigrated ml, and I like the concept
   Also I feel like there’s not much basis for the ml to fall for her, but he seems to like her already

   2nd chapter just killed any interest I had for this story.

   I was lead to believe he was going to be reborn in some type of way but in fact he just got replaced…..

   Not even the same person. 😑

   Unless later down the road it’s revealed that is the case but it’s too late for me. I’ll never know. I’m out. ✌️

   Yeah, so it’s not exactly the (soul of the) husband of the female lead who has possessed someone, but just like the summary said: the female lead has isekai’d into a fantasy world and is forced to marry a good-looking but timid and stuttering dark-haired duke. He’s suddenly disowned by the tyrant of his country and kills himself, after which the husband’s body is being possessed by the sould of a man who has fought evil in another world and can now see a system screen.
   The beginning is full of isekai clichés, except for the male lead/husband himself, then the story is described a lot from his perspective (as well as from the female lead’s one too). The only sliver of hope I have for this is what the original hubby said before taking poison: that he wants to be reborn again and again until he will be strong enough to become a good husband for his wife. So maybe it is actually the same soul, even though the “protagonist” and possessor doesn’t know this yet…
