Till end he’s good guy. Yes, i mean like normal guy not totally fine.
His mom left him so he is afraid of anyone leaving him.
He doesn’t love her but he is scared of losing her. He finds comfort with her, he is willing to marry without love.
Now u will ask why she left him? She never got sparks. She wanted love. Quite understandable.
Also their thinking is different. He already made plans if they divorce, she will get good alimony. He looked the part where most couples divorce. His trauma made him hard to believe more. He thinks if she looses sparks, she will leave him as if natural. (He fell very late btw)
Whereas she looks that other part where couples survive for long time. That they loose sparks yet they love each other enough to live forever.
