   it is quite entertaining, but only if: 1. you like overpowered main characters and 2. you don’t think too deeply about the story and just accept everything at face value. In my opinion, while it is engaging, mostly because it’s action-focused and the battles tend to be good, it does have plenty of “holes” in logic and even in plot. I also think the development of the MC is disjointed at best. He learns everything right away, and suddenly uses techniques he hadn’t before without explanation as to where that even came from. Like, I guess we were just supposed to assume he learned it from his past life or something, but it’s just lazy to not even mention it on dialogues or internal monologue of the MC.

   Regarding MC himself, as @HoneyToast said, he is the typical OP MC who is generally bland in personality. At least he does have a personality and I’m personally fine with it, it’s pleasant enough. I will disagree about the side characters though, specially about the female ones. They are not all the same girl with “different colors”, in fact, most of them have very distinct personalities that differ from one another in many ways. It sounds misogynistic to just lump them together because a few of them share common traits (being ambitious, or jealous and discouraged, or having romantic feelings towards the MC, for example) while also not recognizing they all serve a purpose and have their own goals to reach that aren’t necessarily the same either. It’s almost as if you just don’t like the female characters (which is fine btw, as long as you’re not misogynistic about it) but don’t wanna admit that, so you’re making shit up to justify your own bias.
   .
   Finally, the art is not entirely refined either, I find that at times characters look weird or out of proportion, but the fights/magical aspects of it are really well made. The translation is also not too bad, but I’ll say there are some chapters that mistranslates things using awkward terms, and it’s really annoying having to mentally correct them to the right ones, even the character’s names are not exempt to this. All in all, there are better action-foward manhwas out there, but this one is not too bad either. I personally am pleased that it has so many female characters and that they are actually considered equals, and not just romantic interests, servants or someone to be saved by the MC like in some many other stories.

   I’ve read until Chap 67 and while it is true that MC is the generic OP MC just like what @HoneyToast said, I really like the way the story delve into his past life and his relationship with his former comrades (the art and pacing has been really good in recent chaps–from the start, it has been good, but it has gotten so much better now). I also keep on remembering that he’s more or less alone in the new world without his comrades from before. so it must’ve been lonely. I mean I know he has his own family and stuff now, but just knowing he probably missed his old friends got me sobbing.

   No bad but not good either. Generic OP MC already has a completed character arc so it’s a bit bland but fine. The main issue is his ever growing harem members are all basically the same girl with different coloring.
   Nearly all of his peers are arrogant, spoiled, and practically unlikable. Normally I’d blast the author for being lazy in their character development or just incapable of writing compelling characters BUT no joke EVERY SINGLE professor has so much personality. Each one has more than all of the kids combined; the tortured genius mage, cool summoning unnie, gym bro knight, eccentric magic teacher, jaded and lazy hr teacher, and split personality shortie. They’re all so fun! So why are the main cast so lacking??
