   The theme of this manhwa is illegimate child😂. In every ch the readers will be reminded that fl is an illegimate child. She uses this fact left and right to gain sympathy.

   Read until chap 23 +some spoilers
   I don’t find the ML, the man with the black hair, charming at all: he sees LF as nothing more than his ‘prey’ or an amusing toy, or even his sex slave who will ‘lay his children’… He’s just the average scumbag stalker you find in a lot of these manhwa.
   In fact, in this story, the FL never stops being a victim (almost masochistic) and, if she’s smart, it’s just to reinforce the misogynist axiom that a woman can’t get by without a man.
   It’s just another phallocratic story. Disgusting.

   actually good? I know some people have issues with the way the fl deals with her problems (aka instead of running away from them she acknowledges them and deals with it, not very popular in romance genres i know), but i find her personality and intelligence above average for the typical fl. Maybe it’s because I think similar to her, but she’s refreshingly real. Of course not every decision she makes will be the best one BUT GUESS WHAT that means you can complain about her decisions instead of a lack of decisive personality.
   The ml is fun, i like him at least, and the surrounding characters aren’t 2d. All in all I enjoyed this one a lot and am looking forward to updates!

       The fl cares too much about the reputation of her so called family that she is willing to sacrifice anything dear to her. She is too disappointing. The count although shows that he loves her a lot but idk how is not noticing the bullying she is going through.

       Alsoooo about fl lead’s mother running away blah blah…first of all why do you have to do “it”with a man who is much much above your level without a protection. I’m sure birth control was available back then too. She ran away after getting pregnant so she probably knew the consequences before too. She knew she can’t afford to raise a child alone. She knew her child would be called illegimate. The prblms she faced in that mountain where she lived were due to her own fault which resulted in her death.
       Even the father is to be equally blamed. Why did he marry that woman if he was so in love with the fl’s mother. If power is so important for him
       then why did fall for a commoner. After marraige imagine your husband searching for his so called “love”. How would you feel? That explains the resentment the stepmother feels towards the fl. Although it doesn’t justify her actions towards someone who isn’t at fault.

       And the fl should stop being a people pleaser.

    The count fl’s father loved fl’s mother and he didn’t know that she was pregnant, and she then ran away after he had to politically marry another woman, and so he had a daughter with his wife without knowing fl’s existence

    Seems like it’s another story about how a man couldn’t keep in his pants, had a child with another woman, and *surprise surprise* his wife doesn’t like that he now decided to bring his bastard kid to live with them, and be recognised in society. In this Manhwa, FL is the bastard kid, so we’re supposed to see the stepmother as the villain, if FL was the legitimate child roles would be reversed, when the actual villain is the cheater husband but whatever (even if he seems like a “nice guy”, still a cheater – small benefit of the doubt is that we don’t know the whole story between him, his wife and FL mother. But 2 kids from different mothers, both with same age… yeah, very small benefit of the doubt)

    Rant done, now to the review – seems like it’ll be nice, albeit kinda cliche, but at least there’s no transmigration nor reincarnation. I like FL personality, typical but still ok. And ig that the guy is the ML, i like how they banter with each other, always entertaining to read for me. Art is pretty, TL is good. Has potential that’s for sure, so let’s see 🤞 Chp 4 so can’t say more than this
