The art is pretty good, but the plot is somewhat lacking. At least for now, as of chapter 17.
There’s no clear conflict or struggle that makes me want to keep reading except for the trashy husband and ambitious mistress, and while you’d think that’d be enough conflict, both of the antagonists are ridiculously idiotic and have zero rational thinking abilities. They’re similar to dolls, hollow on the inside.
It’s not your regular ‘cheating husband’ story where the antagonists are constantly throwing attacks at the FL every chapter, these ones are just…shamelessly stupid.
And the general drive of the story is the FL trying to obtain the amount of money needed to be able to divorce him, which is fine if you’re interested in constant talk about finances.
However, my major issue aren’t those things, but the fact the divorce will happen 100 chapters from now.
I’m aware she has to come up with a lot of money, I’m just impatient and I don’t think it’s interesting enough to endure 100 chapters worth of boring villains who don’t know how to scheme. The MC knows how to work her way to the top and is pretty smart, so I would say to only read just for her.
I’ll bookmark just in case it gets more interesting.

idc if its generic this manhwa is so good, and tbf its not a divorce plan if they get divorced straight away. i like how she isnt getting divorced straight away because she if focusing on elevating her position in society, also the revenge is satisfying. Also it is realistic, no woman would be able to get divorced that quickly back then

why the boring and generic stories always have the best art? this story has the most common setting, nothing special, she has a trashy husband that cheats on her wit her bish sister, she wants a divorce and revenge blah blah blah, also till chapter 95 of the novel, there’s no sign of divorce 😞
