I wouldn’t have minded if the heroine ended up with a shape-shifter who took on the appearance of a child in order to protect himself. But I don’t like that the “child” beast-man knew that he hadn’t grown up for dozens or even hundreds of years (see chapter 34) and has obviously lied about it. He also still acted without manners and like a child after being saved by the female lead just to get closer to her (and to be liked by others, like the maids for example).
It’s weird that readers hate it when male leads are younger than female leads, often simply when they had once been older in a past life that they remember, long ago. But if male leads are like thousand years old dragons or ancient mythical beings, it’s no problem at all???

It’s good but the translations are god awful. Like the name of everyone changes every chapter. It’s just horrible that it’s often unreadable. There’s one chapter where they just go I’ll be your nougat with no meaning and even with context you’re like wtf do they mean
